Point 16 - Section and Story Planning

The opening to the video is the beginning of the first section. the first thing that the audience will see is this artist logo and name of the song being sung. This informs and will also promote my artist. 

This image is representing the first setting in the video of the first section. The first section will be videoed in black and white so I will be filming the roads during the night so that the lights are highlighted in the black and white. The idea of this represents the urban look and theme. 

This image is representing the start of section two, where the audience will first see the two min characters on the beach with a crowd of friends. I want this to represent the happy times the couple have had. This section will also be filmed in black and white. This will be the first flashback of the music video. This will then follow into the first chorus of the song. This section will be very scenic with clips of the sea, sunset and teens having fun. 

This is now section three. Section three is the first chorus of the video, the first time we see the main characters in the red lighting. The plan is to film in a black room and for it to be empty. This is where there will be lip syncing in the video and where you see the emotion between them both. Section three will be repeated for each chorus. During this section there will be many different camera angles. I want to do a close up view of their faces and to then zoom out to see the lip syncing.

At this point the chorus will be finished at its now section four. In section four the leading male character (the artist - StarBoy) will be thinking about this girl. It will be filmed at the top of a mountain to show the views whilst it goes back to short flashbacks of the female character. There will be close up shots and long shots in this part of the video. Again this will also be in back and white. The main character will also lip sync parts of this verse and section. 

Section 5 is going to be the longest section of the video as it will consist of the chorus and part of the last verse this means there will be changing in lighting and scenery. Parts will be filmed in black and white but most will be with red lighting. I plan do a few different camera shots to make it more interesting towards the end to keep people engaged.
