Point 9 - Audience Research

I have done research on what type of audience would suit my music video style best. For my research I have used this website
https://www.uktribes.com/tribe/urban. There are four main audience tribes, for my music video style I think that the Urban Tribe is best suited.

Someone who is part of the "Urban Tribe" typically listens to R&B, old school rap, grime and is someone who keeps up with new releases. This fits in perfectly with my chosen song and artist.
Fashion Wise street wear is their go to style. This can be sports wear or a retro t-shirt and jeans most likely from classic brands like Nike, Adidas and Levi's.

There are four types of people in the "Urban Tribe" you have:

Trackie's, these are the more laid back enthusiasts, motivated by the need to chill with by gaming or listening to their music. They like to play sports like basketball and football. Their favourite food is most likely pizza. They are also known for liking weed.

Styler's, these people represent status and style and are constantly trend setting. They will most likely be seen at parties. Thanks to the stylers more of the youth are becoming more stylish, chic and with the now. They prefer the more luxury lifestyle.

Wastemen, these people are rebellious, loud and a bit dodgy. They are also known as "chavs" which is a British term. They are chilled people, usually wearing trackies but make a bit money from dealing around their area.

Get Paid Crew, these people are highly aspirational and are driven by money and being their "own boss". These people will most likely work in an office for a business they have created and has been a big accomplishment. They once upon a time were trackies or wastemen.

I think the Urban Tribe is the perfect audience for my music video, the song is R&B which is their vibe but also the storyline of the video will fit into this audience.
